Ergonomic Solutions

Work-related musculoskeletal disorders are common among computer users. Studies have shown that ergonomic interventions such as work risk analysis and work station modification significantly reduce work-related injuries and symptoms.

At Adept Physical Therapy & Sports Rehabilitation, we offer on-site ergonomic analysis and work/home station modification in conjunction with physical therapy to ensure complete recovery from injury.

An adjunct to hands-on physical therapy, the Adept Ergonomic Solutions program includes:

• Evaluation of workstation logistics and employee biomechanics       
• Specific recommendations for reducing high-risk activities in the work place    
• On-site work station modifications      
• Exercise conditioning programs for low back and extremities    
• Educational presentations on safety and injury prevention

Our goal at Adept Physical Therapy & Sports Rehabilitation is to combine skilled manual therapy and individualized exercise programs with education on injury prevention and healthy behaviors at home and work.
